Partial Eclipse Viewing - Valley Forge National Historic Park

The good weather plan is to set up at the Waynes Woods picnic area.

From the Ranger this Sunday AM: We will be setting up at >1pm at the Wayne's Woods picnic area with an event rundown and safety briefing will be at 1:30.

They also are planning on having some other activities alongside viewing the eclipse including a short history presentation from their park rangers to tie in themes from the park, a junior ranger activity and a craft for kids, and information about a cool citizen science opportunity with a project called eclipse soundscapes. They will be providing eclipse glasses as well! Safe Solar viewing with telescopes will also be available. Eclipse information: Partial starts 2:08 pm Max eclipse 3:23 pm (90%) Partial ends 4:35 pm
