The DVAA has a long and proud history of public service, through outreach, for all sorts of institutions and groups (i.e. schools, libraries, churches, civic institutions, etc.).   In 2024 we held a total of 50 events with over 2446 public attendees: 

• DVAA pubic star parties at Valley Forge National Historical  Park
• Star parties with libraries, community groups, scouts, and others
  
• Solar viewings (including the partial solar eclipse)
• Astronomy presentations to groups (scouts, schools, etc.)
