This hugely popular star party is held at Cherry Springs State Park. Advance registration for the 2026 star party opened at 6pm on April 22 and is now sold out. A waitlist is available.
We understand that at least one lucky DVAAer snagged a ticket!
If your schedule permits and the weather forecast is favorable, consider camping on the astronomy field a few days before the official start of the star party. Generally, star party registrants begin arriving early in the week before the official party start. If you were unable to snag a spot for the official star party, you will need to leave the field on Friday, June 12, but prior to that you will still benefit from the camraderie of other early arrivers.
