Two Missions, Many Mysteries

In the past few years, two amazing new astrophysics missions have come on-line, and are showing us things about the universe we can’t make sense of -yet.  It’s an amazing thing to see something right before our eyes that we can’t explain, and all we can do is wonder where the next generation of physics will take us.  One mission is big and famous: the Webb Telescope, which studies the universe at the largest scales. The other is small and often overlooked: the NICER instrument on the International Space Station. It has made some incredible discoveries about the smallest scales of matter.  Join us for two perspectives on an increasingly mysterious universe.
