Star Parties are a public service of the DVAA and are FREE!!   Adults and children are welcome.

We are pleased to announce that we have returned to the original public star party format!  Our members setup and operate a bunch of telescopes and binoculars for the public to use but feel free to bring out your own equipment as well.  Also, if you're new to astronomy or you haven't used your scope in a while we'll be happy to help you with setup and calibration.  In either case, be prepared to learn a whole lot about the sky (the DVAA loves to talk astronomy).   If you would like to be notified about weather-related changes, register for the event with your name and email.  Also include your cell phone number if you'd like to receive a text with weather-related announcements.
