2010 DVAA Star Party Schedule

Valley Forge National Historical Park

All star parties are on Saturday evenings, and run from sunset until 11:00 PM, weather permitting. An introduction to the star party is available on the directions page for first-time visitors.

All VFNHP Star Parties are held the model airplane field, in the Southwest corner of the park. Directions to the Valley Forge site.

Note: DVAA Members give freely of their time to serve the public. Star Parties are a public service of the DVAA and are FREE.

All DVAA members are encouraged to participate in these events. Bring a telescope, binoculars, or just yourself, and have fun!

Note: Star parties are cancelled if the weather is cloudy or rainy.
If the weather is questionable, check this website for last minute cancellations, or call observing chair Al Lamperti.

Novice stargazers are often surprised at how cold they get while observing.  For your own comfort and enjoyment, please remember to dress warmly.
