Public Dark Sky Observing Site

The public site we use is on the target range in PA State Game Land Number 43, off of PA Route 345.
Note: There is a well-lit auto dealer at the intersection of PA routes 23 and 345.
From the Morgantown Exit of the PA Turnpike, go East about 2 1/2 miles on Rt. 23 to PA route 345. Turn left (North) onto Rt. 345.
From south and east, take Rt. 23 West about 15 miles from PA route 113 (or about 7 miles from PA route 100) to PA route 345. Turn right (North) onto Rt. 345.
Once on PA route 345, go about 1/2 mile as it bears right then sharply left. Turn left onto Laurel Rd, immediately after 345 takes the sharp left. The site is off a gravel road on the right about one mile up Laurel.
